Abstract
This work presents preliminary results on the impact of output correction factors in non-conventional radiation fields on dose distribution calculations for radiosurgery applications. The analysis is based on the output correction factors proposed by the IAEA TRS-483 code of practice.
Context
This research stems from the M.S. thesis work on dose distribution corrections in small radiation fields, extending the analysis to evaluate the practical impact of TRS-483 correction factors on clinical dosimetry in radiosurgery.
